Role Summary
Support Arm partners integrating Arm CPUs and system IP into SoC designs. Provide technical mentorship, perform RTL investigations and simulations, and advise on integration, configuration, and performance optimisations. The role involves frequent customer interaction, both onsite and remote, and collaboration with IP design and product teams.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide timely technical support and answers to partner questions about Arm CPU and system IP.
- Conduct customer SoC build reviews and recommend functionality and optimisation improvements.
- Investigate integration issues using RTL simulations and debugging tools; identify root causes and recommend fixes.
- Develop and deliver technical training and create application notes and knowledge-base content.
- Collaborate with IP design and product management teams to improve partner experience and influence IP feature development.
- Test IP updates and provide pre-release feedback to engineering teams.
- Develop tooling and techniques to improve troubleshooting efficiency.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and conditions:
- Proficient with HDLs such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
- Strong understanding of CPU architecture principles and SoC design principles.
- Experience using RTL simulation and waveform viewers for debugging (examples: QuestaSim, Verdi, Cadence Simvision, Xcelium).
- Familiarity with development tools and editors (examples: Visual Studio Code, Vim).
- Ability to analyse customer requirements, communicate technical findings clearly, and work with remote and onsite teams.
- Must have the right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of one or more AMBA bus protocols.
- Familiarity with the Arm Architecture.
- Understanding of system coherency concepts.
- Experience with PCIe, CXL, and/or UCIe specifications.
Education Requirements
BSc degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (ECE) or equivalent practical experience.
