Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and validating DRC, LVS, and Fill runsets for Synopsys IC Validator tools.
- Collaborating with foundries to ensure adherence to process requirements.
- Automating qualification processes using Perl, Tcl, and Python.
- Troubleshooting layout verification issues.
- Interfacing with customers for requirement gathering and technical support.
- Mentoring junior team members and sharing best practices.
- Staying updated with the latest EDA tool advancements and foundry innovations.
Requirements
Must-have skills and qualifications:
- B.Tech, M.Tech, or MS in Electronics, VLSI, or related fields.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Physical Verification.
- Advanced proficiency with EDA tools such as IC Validator, Calibre, and Pegasus.
- Scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, and Python for automation.
- Understanding of CMOS layout, ASIC design flows, and foundry requirements.
- Experience in writing DRC, LVS, ERC, and DFM rule decks.
Education Requirements
A degree in Electronics, VLSI or a related field is required.
