Responsibilities
The responsibilities involve:
- Developing and validating DRC, LVS, and Fill runsets for Synopsys IC Validator.
- Collaborating with foundries to understand process requirements.
- Automating qualification processes for IC Validator runsets.
- Troubleshooting layout verification issues including LVS discrepancies, DRC violations, and DFM challenges.
- Interfacing with customers and FAEs for requirements gathering and technical support.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to knowledge sharing.
- Staying updated with EDA tool advancements and foundry innovations.
Requirements
Key requirements include:
- B.Tech, M.Tech, or MS in Electronics, VLSI, or related field.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Physical Verification (PV).
- Proficiency with EDA tools such as IC Validator, Calibre, and Pegasus.
- Strong scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, and Python.
- Deep understanding of CMOS layout and ASIC design flows.
- Experience in writing and debugging DRC, LVS, ERC, and DFM rule decks.
- Exposure to competitive EDA tools.
Education Requirements
B.Tech, M.Tech, or MS in Electronics, VLSI, or related field.
