Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Developing and validating DRC, LVS, and Fill runsets for IC Validator.
- Collaborating with foundries to understand process requirements.
- Automating qualification processes using Perl, Tcl, and Python.
- Troubleshooting layout verification issues.
- Interfacing with customers to gather technical requirements.
- Mentoring junior team members and encouraging knowledge sharing.
- Staying updated on EDA advancements and foundry innovations.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- B.Tech, M.Tech, or MS in Electronics, VLSI, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Physical Verification.
- Proficiency with EDA tools including IC Validator, Calibre, and Pegasus.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, and Python.
- Strong understanding of CMOS layouts and ASIC design flows.
- Experience in writing and debugging DRC, LVS, and DFM rule decks.
- Exposure to competitive EDA tools.
Education Requirements
A degree in Electronics, VLSI, or a related field is required.
