Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and validating DRC, LVS, and Fill runsets for IC Validator.
- Collaborating with foundries to understand process requirements.
- Automating qualification processes using scripting languages.
- Troubleshooting complex layout verification issues.
- Interfacing with customers for technical support.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Staying updated with EDA tool advancements.
Requirements
Qualifications include:
- B.Tech, M.Tech, or MS in Electronics, VLSI, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in Physical Verification.
- Proficiency with EDA tools like IC Validator, Calibre, and Pegasus.
- Strong scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, and Python.
- Deep understanding of CMOS layout and ASIC design flows.
- Experience in writing and debugging DRC, LVS, ERC, and DFM rule decks.
Education Requirements
B.Tech, M.Tech, or MS in Electronics, VLSI, or a related field.
