Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Developing and validating DRC, LVS, and Fill runsets for the Synopsys IC Validator tool.
- Collaborating with foundries to understand process requirements.
- Automating qualification processes using scripting languages.
- Troubleshooting layout verification issues and discrepancies.
- Interfacing with customers to gather requirements and provide technical support.
- Mentoring junior team members and fostering a knowledge-sharing culture.
- Staying updated with EDA tool advancements and foundry process innovations.
Requirements
Must-have skills and qualifications:
- B.Tech, M.Tech, or MS in Electronics, VLSI, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Physical Verification.
- Proficiency with EDA tools such as IC Validator, Calibre, and Pegasus.
- Strong scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, and Python.
- Deep understanding of CMOS layout and ASIC design flows.
- Experience in writing and debugging rule decks.
- Exposure to competitive EDA tools.
Education Requirements
B.Tech, M.Tech, or MS in Electronics, VLSI, or a related field.
