Role Summary

This position involves serving as a key member of the technical sales team, responsible for driving technical sales and support for Siemens EDA's Verification IP (VIP) portfolio across the EMEA region. It entails direct engagement with customers to ensure successful adoption of Siemens' solutions and developing strong technical relationships.

The role is ideal for experienced professionals, particularly those with a background in electronic design automation and functional verification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical engagements to support various sales campaigns.
  • Provide technical guidance during pre-sales and post-sales interactions.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility of projects and communicate insights to the sales department.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Verification IP products.
  • Assist customers in integrating VIP into their existing test setups.
  • Share insights regarding accounts, competitors, and technical developments with relevant teams.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure prompt support.
  • Influence product development by relaying industry needs to the team.
  • Collaborate with peers to meet collective goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with high-speed interface protocols like PCIe, Ethernet, USB, etc.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM is essential.
  • Experience in integrating commercial VIP in SystemVerilog/UVM environments.
  • Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems, along with scripting skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities for managing pre-sales activities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • A knack for dissecting complex issues into manageable parts.

Education Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or an equivalent area of study.
