Role Summary

Provide application engineering support for DC/DC power conversion ICs. The role focuses on defining application requirements, validating new product functionality, debugging hardware and IC issues, and delivering technical support to FAEs and end customers. The position works closely with design, FAE, and marketing engineering teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level — new graduate.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with design engineers, FAEs and marketing to define requirements for new ICs.
• Validate new product functions and perform issue debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Create IC datasheets and design demo boards for customer evaluation.
• Provide technical support and problem solving for FAEs and end customers.
• Execute application tests for DC/DC power conversion ICs.

Requirements

Key qualifications and skills.

• Must-have: Practical experience with power electronics, analog and digital circuitry.
• Must-have: Hardware debug and analysis skills; able to use oscilloscope, DC supplies and perform PCB soldering.
• Must-have: Effective communication and teamwork; proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Nice-to-have: Experience with SPMS, power supply design, MCU integration, or GaN technologies.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics (EE or Power Electronics major) as stated in the posting.
