Application Engineer (New Grad)

Role Summary

Provide application engineering support for DC/DC power conversion integrated circuits. The role covers defining new IC features, validating product functions, debugging issues, producing datasheets and demo boards, and offering technical support to field application engineers (FAEs) and end customers.

Experience Level

Entry-level (New graduate).

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include collaboration with design and marketing teams, product validation, documentation, and customer support.

• Collaborate with design engineers, FAEs, and marketing to define new IC features and requirements.
• Perform new product function validation and debug functional issues.
• Create IC datasheets and design demo boards.
• Provide technical support and problem solving for FAEs and end customers.

Requirements

Core skills and experience required; preferred items listed separately.

• Experience in power electronics, analog circuitry, and digital circuitry.
• Able to debug and analyze hardware circuitry issues; comfortable using oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, and performing PCB soldering.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills; team player.
• Preferred: experience with power supplies, MCUs, GaN devices, or SPMS technologies.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a closely related field.
