Work closely with design, product, test, packaging and other cross-functional teams to validate products and produce technical documentation and reports.

Experience Level

Entry-level internship. Short-term Summer 2027 role (May 24 - August 13).

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this internship role include:

  • Validate new DDR5-related power modules and memory controller products using bench measurements to verify full functionality and compliance with customer and industry requirements.
  • Perform system-level analysis to identify performance bottlenecks and develop strategies to improve power efficiency without degrading performance.
  • Develop and maintain bench automation software and simulation models to collect and analyze power-consumption data at chip, board, and system levels.
  • Collaborate with design, product, test, packaging, and other teams to ensure product performance and specification requirements are met.
  • Prepare technical documentation including specifications, datasheets, validation reports, power analysis reports, and test plans.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and capabilities for the role.

  • Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuits (e.g., amplifiers, temperature sensors, ADC/DAC, voltage regulators, power components).
  • Programming experience with LabVIEW, Python, or similar languages for bench automation and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
  • Ability to collect and analyze measurement data and to develop simulation models.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to document results and explain technical concepts to cross-functional teams and customers.

Education Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field; candidates must not have graduated before September 2027 (i.e., enrolled through at least September 2027). No alternative "equivalent experience" language was provided.
