Application Engineer Consultant

Role Overview

The Application Engineer Consultant position is intended for engineers who deliver technical expertise in digital, mixed-signal, and analog IC chip designs using the business's Functional Verification (FV) products and services. The role supports presales and post-sales efforts, addressing customer needs and ensuring proper implementation of solutions.

Experience Level

This role suits experienced professionals with a strong background in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science. Candidates should have substantial experience related to Application Engineer Consultant responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are to be expected in this role:

• Provide expertise and support in functional verification for both ASIC and FPGA designs.
• Utilize UVM System Verilog for testing and debugging.
• Work with functional verification simulators and tools such as QuestaSim and Visualizer.
• Develop sales strategies and collaborate with clients to drive technical campaigns.
• Create deployment plans for functional verification platforms during client evaluation.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent foreign degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 60 months of relevant work experience in the Application Engineer Consultant field or similar roles.
• Proficiency in functional verification flows and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
