Role Summary

Provide technical support and deployment assistance for Siemens EDA's Calibre software to customers, focusing on physical verification and implementation flows. The role works with customers, sales, and product teams to resolve technical issues, deliver training, and produce knowledge-base content.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include supporting customers, troubleshooting, and enabling successful use of Calibre in production flows.

• Provide technical support to customers via telephone, electronic means, and on-site visits.
• Assist customers in deploying Calibre software to solve design and verification challenges.
• Support design and verification on PDK, DRM, and post-tape-out (mask) flows using Calibre.
• Track and update customer issues using Siemens EDA processes and tracking tools.
• Develop and deliver technical training on new features and product updates.
• Create and maintain technical content for the knowledge base.
• Communicate customer technical requirements and issues to product and sales teams.

Must-have

• Understanding of custom/ASIC design flow and physical verification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in a programming language (scripting or software development).
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with customers effectively.

Nice-to-have

• Knowledge of competitive EDA tools for physical implementation and verification.
• Experience supporting PDK/DRM and post-tape-out flows or deploying EDA tools in customer environments.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science is listed; M.S. is preferred.
