Role Summary

Develop and debug video and audio applications on embedded systems using Ambarella architectures. Implement new features across driver and middleware layers and support customers with problem analysis, troubleshooting, and function customization.

Position involves customer-facing support, including occasional travel for on-site assistance.

Experience Level

Mid-level — requires at least 2 years of software/firmware development experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop and debug video/audio applications on embedded platforms.
• Design and implement features at the driver and middleware layers.
• Develop and maintain BSPs and device drivers; work with real-time and embedded OSes.
• Analyze and resolve customer product issues and assist with function customization.
• Provide on-site customer support and travel as required.

Requirements

Must-have technical and professional skills:

• Proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Strong experience in at least one of: embedded OS (VxWorks/Linux/uItron), BSP, or device drivers.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure and travel for customer support.
• Hardware experience is preferred (nice-to-have).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
