Analog Validation Intern - Summer 2027
Role Summary
Assist the analog validation team in preparing and executing validation tests for analog/mixed-signal products. Work with design, systems, and software teams to collect and summarize test data, reproduce and debug issues, and maintain validation documentation.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship for current students; suitable for candidates with academic or project/lab experience rather than extensive professional experience.
Responsibilities
Support validation activities and maintain test records under team guidance.
- Prepare test setups, execute validation tests, and collect/analyze data.
- Assist with debugging issues, reproducing failures, and documenting observations.
- Collaborate with design, systems, and software teams to understand expected behavior and support issue resolution.
- Maintain validation plans, reports, and technical records for project visibility.
- Contribute to improving test coverage and product quality through disciplined test execution.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes for candidates in this internship.
- Hands-on lab experience from coursework, projects, internships, or student competitions.
- Familiarity with engineering, verification, programming, or lab tools and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, and testing methodology.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly in English.
- Willingness to document results and follow disciplined test procedures.
Nice-to-have:
- Prior exposure to analog/mixed-signal validation or related tooling.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline; candidate must be returning to school after the internship or graduate at the conclusion of the internship term. Candidates graduating before July 2027 are not eligible for this internship.
