Job Title

Analog / RF & mmWave Senior Principal Test Engineer

Role Summary

Develop and deliver industrial test hardware and software for mass production of automotive radar products. Work cross-functionally with design, validation, and manufacturing teams to define test strategy, implement design-for-test features, and qualify products for production.

This role is part of the Automotive Radar product line and focuses on reducing cost, meeting quality targets, and ensuring time-to-market for new products.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically more than 10 years of experience in Analog, RF and mmWave test development, including work with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and production test environments.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include specification, design, development, and qualification of test solutions for mass production.

  • Develop industrial test solutions (hardware and software) for mass production.
  • Support product design teams during development to ensure testability and implement DFT features.
  • Define test strategy, create test programs, and develop ATE hardware and loadboards.
  • Design PCB and select contacting technologies for ATE loadboards.
  • Prepare and execute test setups for formal product qualification and release to production.
  • Balance electrical performance, quality, cost, and time-to-market; manage risks and priorities.
  • Collaborate across global teams and communicate technical decisions to stakeholders.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, practical experience, and interpersonal abilities required for the role.

  • More than 10 years of Analog / RF / mmWave test development experience in production environments.
  • Proven experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE); familiarity with Advantest and Smartest8 is a plus.
  • Experience in analog/RF/mmWave PCB design for ATE loadboards and contacting technology selection.
  • Knowledge of analog and RF/mmWave measurement techniques and design-for-testability practices.
  • Familiarity with quality screening techniques used in production test.
  • Fluent English communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work with global teams.
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills; ability to make timely decisions with incomplete information.
  • Ability to represent technical expertise outside the immediate organization.
  • Nice-to-have: digital and high-speed digital experience.
