Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design and simulate transistor-level analog and mixed-signal circuits, with emphasis on power-conversion topologies. Collaborate with test, product, applications, and layout teams to take new IC products from concept to production release.
Experience Level
Mid-level — typically requires 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include circuit design, simulation, analysis, and lab validation. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready integrated circuits.
- Transistor-level circuit design and simulation
- Architect, implement, and analyze trade-offs between design options
- System- and block-level circuit simulation and modeling
- Evaluate and troubleshoot complex integrated circuit issues in the laboratory
- Interface with test, product, and applications engineering to progress products from concept to production
- Oversee and support physical layout activities
- Collaborate with product definers and support production datasheets
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for immediate contribution.
- Strong background in analog circuit design
- Experience with DC/DC power conversion topologies
- Strong understanding of device physics
- Familiarity with mixed-signal design, simulation, and modeling
- Experience using general lab equipment for IC evaluation
- Motivated, results-oriented, problem solver and team player
- Experience in Automotive and/or Industrial sectors (preferred)
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is specified, with 5+ years of relevant industry experience. The posting emphasizes experience in Automotive and/or Industrial applications.
