Role Summary

Analog layout designer providing onsite support for advanced-node projects, responsible for block- and IP-level analog layout and top-level integration. Works with global layout and circuit design teams to deliver production-ready layouts.

Experience Level

Senior - 8+ years of hands-on experience in analog or RF layout.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

• Perform block- and IP-level analog layout for advanced nodes.
• Develop floorplans and perform top-level integration for analog modules (SerDes, ADC/DAC, PLL).
• Coordinate with circuit designers and global layout team; provide onsite support.
• Debug and resolve DRC, LVS, antenna and related layout issues.
• Ensure layout meets ESD, latch-up, EM and fabrication constraints.
• Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (team lead responsibilities).

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• Minimum 8+ years' hands-on analog or RF layout experience.
• Experience with floorplanning and top-level integration of analog modules such as SerDes, ADC/DAC, PLL.
• Strong understanding of analog layout concepts for deep sub-micron processes and fabrication flow.
• Experience debugging DRC, LVS, antenna errors and addressing ESD, latch-up, and EM issues.
• Ability to work independently on block/IP layout and coordinate with designers and layout teams.
• Onsite availability to support advanced-node projects.
• Nice-to-have: experience with Cadence layout tools, knowledge of TSMC processes; FinFET experience preferred.
