Role Summary

The position is for an experienced Analog Macro Integration Lead responsible for managing macro- and project-level integration for high-performance integrated circuits. This role includes overseeing IPCR/Totem/EMIR processes and ensuring that System on Chip (SoC) Intellectual Property is ready for tapeout.

Experience Level

This is a mid-career role requiring significant experience in analog/mixed-signal design and strong leadership abilities in integrating complex systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical coordinator for macro-level integration and tapeout readiness.
  • Collaborate with mid-level block owners to support macro IPCR flows and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Oversee IPCR releases and run verification flows using Totem/EMIR.
  • Maintain and manage integration databases and libraries for macros.
  • Coordinate with CAD and FTO teams to address macro-level flow challenges.
  • Support project onboarding and ensure quality assurance of SOC IP delivery and tapeout.
  • Resolve integration issues across various teams including layout, CAD, verification, and packaging.
  • Mentor engineers involved in macro-level integration tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong IC design experience, particularly in analog/mixed-signal design and macro-level integration.
  • Hands-on expertise with Totem and EMIR verification runs.
  • Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso and related Cadence tools.
  • Knowledge in Unix/Linux environments and scripting (Perl, Python, TCL, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating across functions.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
