Analog IC Design Engineer
Role Summary
Lead an analog IC design team within the MCU organization with product ownership from definition through silicon release and transfer to manufacturing. Work across analog IPs such as bandgaps/bias, supply monitors, LDOs, ADCs, comparators, DACs, PLLs and oscillators to meet customer and product needs.
Position involves collaboration with system, verification, layout, validation and product teams to deliver manufacturable silicon for markets including consumer, mobile computing and AI-driven data centers.
Experience Level
Senior β 5+ years of relevant analog IC design experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, project ownership and cross-functional coordination from architecture through production transfer.
- Lead and manage an analog IC design team; assign tasks, provide design guidance and monitor project schedules and progress.
- Own product definition, design, silicon evaluation and release to manufacturing.
- Design, develop and evaluate analog circuits and IP for targeted applications.
- Collaborate with physical design/layout teams and monitor layout progress.
- Work with design verification teams to ensure completion of technical tasks prior to project gate reviews.
- Coordinate with systems, applications, marketing, validation, product and test engineering for datasheets, application notes and production transfer.
- Interface with customers and field teams to understand designs and provide technical support.
- Participate in hiring, mentoring and performance evaluation to grow the team.

Must-have:
- 5+ years of relevant analog IC design experience.
- Strong analog design fundamentals and proven experience in silicon data analysis and debug.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams and managing project schedules.
- Experience collaborating with layout/physical designers and verification teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to drive results, manage time effectively and deliver projects on schedule.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with ADC, DAC, PLL, LDO, oscillator or related analog IP design.
- Experience working on products for data-center, consumer or mobile markets.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required (as stated in the posting).
