Analog IC Design Engineer
Role Summary
Lead and contribute to analog integrated-circuit design projects from specification through production, focusing on consumer electronics, mobile computing and communications products. Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team and coordinate with verification, validation, layout, product and field teams.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Lead an analog IC design team and take product ownership from definition to release and manufacturing.
- Direct and participate in design, development, modification and evaluation of analog integrated circuits and components.
- Assign work, provide design guidance, develop schedules and monitor project progress.
- Evaluate intermediate and final design results and perform silicon evaluation to ensure technical objectives are met.
- Coordinate with physical designers and monitor IC layout progress.
- Collaborate with design verification teams during pre-production gate phases to complete technical tasks.
- Work with systems, applications and marketing to prepare product briefs, datasheets and application notes and to define product requirements.
- Collaborate with validation, product engineering and test engineering to enable successful transfer to production.
- Interface with customers and field teams to understand customer designs and provide technical support.
- Participate in hiring, developing and evaluating team members.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes (as stated or implied by the role):
- Practical experience in analog IC design and silicon evaluation.
- Experience leading design teams and owning products through design and production transfer.
- Ability to coordinate with physical layout, verification, validation and test engineering teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, initiative, and effective time management to meet project schedules.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience rapidly ramping on new systems and processes.
- Previous experience in customer-facing technical roles.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required (degree level listed in the posting).
