Job Title

Analog IC Design Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Interface Multiplexers group in Bengaluru to design ultra‑fast (multi‑GHz) analog multiplexers and switches for data‑center, consumer, medical, test‑and‑measurement, and audio systems. Work across definition, silicon design, verification, and transfer to production to deliver low‑loss, high‑speed switching solutions.

Experience Level

Entry-level — 0–3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include taking technical ownership of product designs and collaborating across functions to deliver production silicon.

  • Lead or participate in analog IC design from specification through silicon evaluation and release to manufacturing.
  • Define product requirements and contribute to product briefs, datasheets, and application notes.
  • Design and evaluate high‑speed switches/multiplexers (signal integrity, ON resistance, leakage, isolation, fault tolerance).
  • Work with physical designers and monitor IC layout progress.
  • Collaborate with design verification, validation, test engineering, and product engineering to complete pre‑PG tasks and enable production transfer.
  • Interface with systems/application engineers and customers to understand requirements and provide technical support.
  • Participate in hiring, mentoring and development of team members as required.

Requirements

Key qualifications and skills expected for successful candidates.

  • Must-have: 0–3 years of relevant experience in analog IC or related semiconductor work.
  • Must-have: Practical experience or coursework in analog/transistor‑level design and simulation.
  • Must-have: Exposure to high‑speed signaling and switch design concepts (multi‑GHz operation, NRZ/PAM4, multi‑voltage domains, low RON, low off‑leakage, off‑isolation).
  • Familiarity with silicon bring‑up, layout collaboration, and working with verification teams.
  • Nice-to-have: Strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, teamwork, problem solving, initiative, and time management.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
