Analog EDA Backend Lead

Role Summary

The Analog EDA Backend Lead will work with cross-functional teams within EDA and internal customers to define, evaluate, and support new EDA solutions. The role involves collaboration with vendors and interfacing with teams to ensure successful PDK usage in design executions.

Experience Level

Mid-level, requiring 4-10 years of relevant EDA/CAD experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with teams to define and evaluate EDA solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors for technical evaluations and tool assessments.
  • Interface with ATD teams and Foundry customers for PDK usage.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 4-10 years of relevant EDA/CAD experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience leading an EDA/CAD team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CMOS circuits and analog circuits simulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
