Analog Design Engineering Intern
Role Summary
The intern will contribute to analog IC/IP design work across analog, digital and RF domains. You will work with experienced designers to define, model, implement and document analog integrated circuits and support architecture and trade-off analysis.
Work areas may include RF front-end designs, clocking, and automotive applications. This is a product-development engineering role on a design team.
Experience Level
Internship / Entry-level - intended for students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs (no specific years of professional experience required).
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include designing and documenting analog IP and collaborating with cross-functional teams; list below captures core tasks.
- Design analog IP for future devices with guidance from experienced designers.
- Partner with business and system engineering teams to define and agree on design specifications.
- Provide high-level analysis on chip-architecture trade-offs to meet specifications and cost targets.
- Participate in design reviews and prepare required design and product documentation.
- Supervise IC layout activities to maintain performance standards.
