Job Title

Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Member of the Power Management team responsible for designing analog and mixed-signal IP for power management units, battery management, and related applications. Works on circuit design, simulation, verification, and cross-functional integration to meet performance, reliability and manufacturability targets.

Experience Level

Professional (mid-career level).

Responsibilities

Design, simulate and validate analog and mixed-signal circuits across power management and related domains; collaborate across layout, test and operations to release products.

  • Design high-precision analog blocks (bandgap, oscillators, crystal drivers, voltage/current references).
  • Develop low/high-power, high-efficiency converters and regulators (linear and switching).
  • Work on data converters, battery-management circuits, and ESD/latch-up immune designs.
  • Perform mixed-signal simulation, design-for-testability and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with layout, test development, quality/Reliability Assurance (QRA) and operations for product release.
  • Debug, characterize and improve circuit performance and reliability.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional competencies for the role; additional domain knowledge is desirable.

  • Must-have: Strong foundation in electronic circuit design and analysis.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Vietnamese and English (read and write).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience or knowledge of power ICs, high-voltage analog design, AC-DC controllers and fly-back regulators.
  • Familiarity with DC-DC controllers (LDO, buck, boost, charge pump) and battery-management (linear and switching chargers).
  • Experience with A/D and D/A converters.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience; related technical fields and equivalent experience acceptable.
