Role Summary

Work on analog and mixed-signal IC design with a focus on power integrity, IR drop analysis and electromigration to ensure chips meet power and reliability targets before fabrication.

Collaborate with layout, verification and backend teams to run physical-design flows and signoff checks, build automation, and resolve issues prior to tapeout.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include executing power-integrity focused analog design tasks and improving the signoff flow through automation and collaboration.

• Perform analog and mixed-signal IC design tasks focused on power integrity, IR drop and electromigration analysis.
• Run physical-design flows and signoff checks using industry-standard EDA tools (Synopsys, Cadence, Ansys).
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Tcl or Shell for verification, analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with layout, verification and backend teams to identify and resolve design issues before tapeout.
• Debug power and signal integrity issues using simulation and analysis tools in a Linux environment.
• Support design reviews and document methodologies, results and lessons learned.

Requirements

Must-have skills and attributes.

• Fundamental knowledge of VLSI and IC design principles.
• Understanding of power integrity, IR drop and electromigration concepts.
• Basic scripting ability in Python, Tcl or Shell; able to read and improve scripts.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment for design and analysis tasks.
• Familiarity with physical design and signoff flows; exposure to Synopsys, Cadence or Ansys EDA tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Good written and verbal English; effective communicator and team player.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Microelectronics or a related technical field (as stated in the posting).
