Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Design, simulate, and verify analog building blocks for high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits. Work on circuits such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, amplifiers, and bandgap references.

Collaborate with digital design, layout, test, and system teams across the product development lifecycle and participate in silicon debug and characterization.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically requires 3+ years of experience in analog IC design.

Responsibilities

Deliver and validate analog circuit blocks from schematic through post-layout verification and silicon characterization.

• Design, simulate, and verify ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, amplifiers, bandgap references, and other analog blocks.
• Perform schematic capture and supervise layout; run and analyze post-layout simulations.
• Collaborate with digital, layout, test, and systems engineering during specification, implementation, and bring-up.
• Conduct design reviews, prepare technical documentation, and define architecture and specifications for new products.
• Analyze and resolve design issues, support silicon debug, and perform device characterization.
• Monitor and adopt relevant analog design methodologies, tools, and industry trends.

Requirements

Key technical and professional qualifications required to perform the role.

• 3+ years of proven analog IC design experience with a portfolio of successful designs.
• In-depth knowledge of analog circuit fundamentals and advanced design concepts.
• Proficiency with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Hspice.
• Experience with advanced semiconductor process technologies (deep submicron CMOS).
• Strong understanding of mixed-signal integration challenges and solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills; experience with silicon bring-up and characterization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Education Requirements

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
