Analog Circuit Design Engineer
Role Summary
Design, develop, and validate analog circuits and mixed-signal IP in advanced process nodes, with primary focus on high-speed analog I/O and PHYs (DDR/LPDDR), LVDS, GPIO, and voltage regulators. Work within a cross-functional ASIC/SoC analog design team to meet performance, power, area, timing, and yield objectives.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Architect, design, simulate and optimize analog circuits (transmitters, receivers, voltage regulators) for high-speed interfaces.
- Create floorplans, perform circuit extraction, and develop behavioral and analog models for simulation.
- Develop and execute test plans; verify designs against circuit and block microarchitecture specifications.
- Collaborate with architecture, layout, and verification teams to resolve design issues and improve robustness.
- Optimize circuits for power, performance, area, timing, leakage, and yield.
- Document designs and report progress to cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Extensive analog circuit design experience targeting advanced process nodes and mixed-signal IP.
- Demonstrated expertise in high-speed IO/PHY design for DDR/LPDDR interfaces, LVDS, and GPIO.
- Hands-on experience with circuit simulation, extraction, and floorplanning.
- Proficiency with scripting/programming (Python, Perl, Tcl); familiarity with Makefiles and CSH desirable.
- Strong understanding of VLSI hardware design, logic design, and advanced process technology.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of Verilog, synthesis, place-and-route flows, and signoff tools is a plus (nice-to-have).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field. The posting specifies 10+ years of analog design experience.
