Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design analog circuits for advanced process nodes and optimize circuit topologies.
- Create and optimize floorplans and review layout work with layout engineers.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and verify designs against circuit and block specifications.
- Evaluate test results, verify functionality, and optimize for power, performance, area, timing, and yield.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and report design progress and issues; drive resolution of design problems.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Strong experience in analog circuit design, simulation, and verification.
- Proficiency with industry-standard circuit design and simulation tools.
- Experience with advanced semiconductor process nodes.
- Ability to develop test plans, analyze results, and optimize circuits for PPA (power, performance, area) and yield.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in SerDes analog design and related microarchitecture (Rx/Tx/PLL).
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as PCIe and Ethernet.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
