AI Develop Intern
Role Summary
Internship position on the SOC Frontend Design team to develop AI agents and automation tools that improve frontend design workflows and engineering productivity. Work includes supporting RTL/DFT design and integration on NXP MCU and MPU platforms.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship. Intended for current graduate students (Master's or PhD); no specific years of professional experience required.
Responsibilities
Primary tasks for this internship include implementing AI-based automation, evaluating AI methods, and supporting frontend design activities.
- Develop AI agents and automation tools to support SOC frontend design.
- Evaluate and deploy AI technologies to optimize frontend design workflows and improve engineering productivity.
- Support RTL and DFT design and integration on NXP MCU and MPU platforms.
Requirements
Technical skills and knowledge required for effective contribution during the internship.
- Familiarity with SOC or ASIC design flow.
- Basic knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and AI agent concepts; strong interest in AI application development.
- Proficiency in Verilog programming.
- Good English reading and writing skills.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral (PhD) degree in Micro‑Electronics, Electronics, or a related field. "Related" implies equivalent graduate-level technical study in areas such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar disciplines.
