Agentic AI Architect
Role Summary
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of autonomous multi-agent AI architectures to automate and improve IP block development and support workflows across semiconductor design phases. Work within Central Engineering to define architecture, integrations, and verification for production use.
Experience Level
Senior - 10+ years of relevant experience in software architecture, AI systems engineering, or semiconductor automation design.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Architect, design, and deploy autonomous multi-agent/agentic AI systems for semiconductor IP development and support workflows.
- Define and implement LLM orchestration and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.
- Design enterprise-grade verification and validation frameworks for AI-driven engineering tools.
- Integrate AI systems with existing semiconductor design toolchains and engineering workflows.
- Measure system performance, reliability, and accuracy; iterate to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align solutions with hardware development requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams adopting agentic AI solutions.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred skills:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software architecture, AI systems engineering, or semiconductor automation design (must).
- Proven experience building and operating multi-agent systems and LLM orchestration platforms (must).
- Experience integrating models and services via protocols such as MCP or equivalent model/context integration approaches (must).
- Experience with enterprise verification frameworks and production-grade validation of AI-driven tools (must).
- Strong systems engineering and software development skills; experience with distributed systems and toolchain integration (must).
- Experience with semiconductor IP development flows, design automation, or verification toolchains (preferred).
- Experience deploying AI solutions in production/cloud environments (preferred).
Education Requirements
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
