Account Technology Manager - Design Verification Technologies (EDA)

Role Summary

Serve as the technical lead for Siemens EDA's Questa One Platform across North American accounts, promoting verification solutions including simulation, debug, coverage, static analysis, formal methods, VIP, and functional safety. Partner with sales and field technical leaders to translate technical engagements into business results.

Hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ, with approximately 25–50% travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Provide account-level technical leadership to drive adoption and revenue for verification solutions.

  • Develop and execute account-specific technical strategies and go-to-market plans with field technical leaders.
  • Lead technical campaigns from discovery to successful customer deployment, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to track opportunities and convert technical wins into sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; act as a strategic advisor on verification methodologies and tools.
  • Monitor competitive trends and position Siemens solutions effectively in the market.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations, product positioning, and subject-matter expertise to customers and internal teams.

Requirements

Core qualifications and skills required for this role.

  • 10+ years' experience in EDA or IC functional verification.
  • Hands-on expertise in digital simulation, coverage analysis, formal techniques, CDC, and VIP.
  • Proven track record in technical sales, pre-sales, or account-facing engineering roles.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, executing technical campaigns, and customer engagement.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and leadership abilities; team-oriented and results-driven.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25–50% across North America.
  • Position subject to U.S. export control requirements; must be a U.S. Person or able to obtain necessary export authorization.

Education Requirements
