Role Summary
Technical sales role within Siemens EDA responsible for driving hardware-accelerated verification (emulation and FPGA prototyping) business in the Silicon Valley territory. Own the account strategy, campaigns, and execution to achieve business targets for hardware-assisted verification products.
Experience Level
Senior — manager-level role. Typically requires about 5–8 years of relevant experience in hardware-assisted verification; expects customer-facing engagement and the ability to interact with Director/C-level stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include defining and executing account strategies, orchestrating field resources, and representing Siemens EDA in customer and industry settings.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers to understand verification challenges and propose solutions.
- Develop and lead customer-facing product introduction and account campaign strategies in partnership with field technical management.
- Set priorities for hardware-assisted verification opportunities and recommend resource allocation to field management and business unit.
- Create and deliver presentations at regional industry events to represent the product portfolio.
- Track and summarize competitive offerings and industry trends affecting customers.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to advance business opportunities and close deals.
- Travel as required (may involve up to 40%).
Requirements

- Must-have: Strong working knowledge of contemporary digital design verification practices that use hardware acceleration (emulation or FPGA prototyping).
- Must-have: 5–8 years of relevant experience in hardware-assisted verification or closely related roles.
- Must-have: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present to senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Must-have: Ability to influence and manage indirectly; professional presence with Director/C-level executives.
- Must-have: Working knowledge of financial metrics and organizational structures relevant to sales and account management.
- Nice-to-have: Prior customer-facing sales or technical account experience.
Education Requirements
Four‑year Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree, or equivalent practical experience in hardware-assisted verification (emulation/FPGA prototyping).
