Role Summary

The Digital Validation team verifies functionality and performance of SoC devices before and after silicon by building automation, data-analysis, and tooling solutions. This working-student role supports engineers in developing software, automation, robotics, and image-processing tools used in the silicon validation flow.

Experience Level

Entry-level — student position intended for current Bachelor's or Master's students; no specific professional years-of-experience required.

Responsibilities

Typical tasks include development, testing, and support of automation and analysis tools for validation activities.

• Support development and maintenance of automation solutions for silicon validation.
• Implement and improve software tools for data collection, processing, and analysis.
• Work on robotics and image-processing solutions for automated chip handling.
• Program, test, and optimize robotic systems and validation workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and document work.

Requirements

Core technical skills and personal qualities required or strongly preferred.

• Must-have: Interest in robotics, automation, and image processing.
• Must-have: Experience with at least one object-oriented language (Java, C++, C#, etc.).
• Must-have: Experience with at least one modern scripting language (Python, Groovy, etc.).
• Must-have: Basic knowledge of web and database technologies and communication protocols.
• Must-have: Reliable, security-conscious working style (role may involve security-related tasks and scope for security certifications).
• Nice-to-have: Experience with robotics frameworks, computer vision, or machine learning.
• Nice-to-have: Basic understanding of SoC (System-on-Chip) architectures.

Education Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field (student status required).
