Role Summary
The Video IP / Subsystem Design Leader is responsible for leading the development of image processing subsystems for automotive SoCs. This role involves making technical decisions, setting design policies, and collaborating with various teams and external IP vendors to advance development.

Senior level with significant experience in specification, design, and verification in relevant fields.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Defining specifications and considering architectures for image processing subsystems in automotive SoCs (R-Car series).
- Organizing and discussing design policies from a comprehensive perspective involving camera input and display output hardware IPs.
- Participating in logical design and verification phases, resolving technical points, and making design judgments.
- Considering constraints such as power, performance, and reliability in accordance with the entire SoC's integration.
- Engaging in technical communication with IP vendors regarding incorporated IPs and clarifying specifications and constraints.
- Driving global development while collaborating in English with design teams in India and Vietnam as well as with IP vendors.
Requirements
Required qualifications include:
- Practical experience in specification, design, verification, or performance evaluation in:
- Image processing HW-IP for camera inputs (MIPI compliant Video Interface, ISP, DMA).
- Image processing HW-IP for display outputs (MIPI compliant Video Interface, DisplayPort, DMA).
- Memory peripherals (interconnect, memory control, memory interfaces).
- Experience in organizing design policies and technical points based on requirement specifications.
- Understanding of logical design and verification flows with active participation in design reviews and technical discussions.
- Strong communication skills contributing to technical consensus with team members and relevant IP representatives.
- Fluency in English for technical meetings and specifications; business-level proficiency in Japanese.
