Verification Engineer - Networking IPs
Role Summary
Owner of unit- and cluster-level verification for networking IPs in NVIDIA's datacenter chips. The role focuses on verifying queuing and scheduling datapath and switching designs and delivering verification closure for complex units and subsystems.
Experience Level
Mid-level β candidates should have over 3 years of relevant verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary verification duties and collaboration expectations:
- Develop verification components and APIs for unit and cluster-level testbenches.
- Architect testbenches and build the verification environment using Specman language and methodology.
- Define test plans and verification infrastructure for clusters and systems.
- Build reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
- Implement functional coverage and drive unit/cluster-level verification closure.
- Verify queuing and scheduling algorithms and related designs.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, FPGA, and post-silicon teams to ensure robustness.

Must-have: Proven experience in networking-specific datapath and switching verification IPs and verification closure of complex units, subsystems, or SoC-level verification (see Experience Level).

Must-have: Strong debugging and analytical skills with exposure to industry-standard simulation and debug tools.

Must-have: Good interpersonal and communication skills for working in global, matrixed teams.

Nice-to-have: Experience with SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM methodologies.

Nice-to-have: Exposure to Formal verification techniques.

Nice-to-have: Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve code development and automation.
Education Requirements
BTech or MTech in ECE, EE, CSE, or an equivalent degree is required.
