Role Summary

The Verification Engineer for AI SoC Development at Intel will ensure the functional correctness of complex ASIC designs. You will work in a collaborative environment, validating cutting-edge products designed for next-generation AI applications.

Senior; 7+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC verification.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading digital ASIC verification at the block and system level for advanced AI SoCs.
  • Defining and reviewing comprehensive test plans in alignment with design specifications.
  • Architecting and developing SystemVerilog testbench infrastructure for functional verification.
  • Executing test plans and regression runs, achieving code and functional coverage closure.
  • Collaborating with design teams to debug issues and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Contributing to pre-silicon verification and chip bring-up.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and establishing best practices.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 7+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC verification.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
  • Strong understanding of digital design concepts.
  • Experience with verification of complex SoCs, including CPU subsystems.
  • Familiarity with industry standard EDA tools for simulation and debugging.
  • Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or TCL for automation.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
