Validation/Verification Engineer (Computer Science Focus)

Role Summary

The Validation/Verification Engineer will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of sophisticated simulation platforms integral to cybersecurity and aerospace applications. The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance software reliability and performance.

Experience Level

Entry-level; applicants typically have recently completed their degree or have limited experience in software engineering.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Designing and executing functional, regression, performance, and API tests in manual and automated environments.
• Developing automated test suites to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Monitoring test results and analyzing failures for continuous improvement.
• Maintaining shared test frameworks and CI-driven quality processes.
• Collaborating with developers and QA engineers to ensure software reliability throughout the lifecycle.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming experience in Python, C#, and/or Java.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Perl, Bash, PowerShell).
• Understanding of software design principles and problem-solving techniques.
• Experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Minimum education requirement includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
