Validation Engineer

Role Summary

The Validation Engineer role at Texas Instruments involves participation in the Career Accelerator Program, providing hands-on experience in product, test, and validation engineering. Engineers will work with teams globally to design, build, and qualify TI’s analog and embedded processing products, ensuring their quality and performance.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the development and implementation of profitability strategies on assigned product lines.
  • Manage operational aspects related to the assigned product portfolio.
  • Resolve customer quality and application issues.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for problem-solving.
  • Develop skills in test software and hardware development, product debugging, and test optimization.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components.
  • Knowledge of analog circuitry and programming skills in C/C++.
  • Experience with lab equipment and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
