Transformative HVB Engineer / Senior Engineer, Frontend Central Product Integration Engineering (cPIE)
Role Summary
Lead initiatives in Frontend Central Product Integration Engineering to improve process capability and maximize high-value-bits (HVB) yield and overall product quality. Work with cross-functional teams to prototype, validate, and deploy data-driven and AI-assisted solutions that optimize process integration, tool performance, and test strategies.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on delivering measurable yield and quality improvements through data, analytics, and cross-functional execution.
- Initiate and develop data solutions to identify process, test, and design improvement opportunities focused on UE_ROW, quality indices, Front End-PTS integration, and high-value-bits (PG2+) yield.
- Model and monitor tool and process performance; establish benchmarking and equipment prognostics.
- Identify and drive test optimization for high product-grade yield improvement.
- Prototype solution mock-ups and demonstrate business value with site Process & Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing, PIE, and Data Science teams.
- Partner with Global Quality, Product Engineering, Central PEE, Smart Manufacturing AI, Technology Development, and suppliers to deliver end-to-end solutions and best-known-methods to production.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily workflows while exercising sound judgment and complying with standards and legal requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement activities: design/optimize systems, methods, tools, and skills to meet industry best practices.
- Manage priorities for global business process and system enhancements; support engineering teams including outside standard hours when required.
- Communicate effectively across functions and present technical findings and recommendations.

Must-have:
- Experience in PIE, test solution teams, product engineering, or circuit design engineering; understanding of process/product integration is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor processes, equipment, and control systems.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Y3, JMP, and Python.
- Proven ability to make decisions, multi-task, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset; dependable and able to work independently and in multi-functional teams.
- Baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in statistical methods or machine learning applied to manufacturing data.
- Familiarity with equipment prognostics, tool performance benchmarking, and deployment of best-known-methods into production.
- Experience collaborating with Global Quality, Smart Manufacturing AI, and supplier partners.
Education Requirements
PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, physical sciences, or related technical discipline) with related experience as stated in the posting.
