Role Summary

Responsible for development and execution of probe, characterization, and production tests for mixed-signal power-management integrated circuits. Collaborates with design and production teams to develop ATE hardware and software, debug silicon, perform failure analysis, and transfer products to volume production.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with design team to interpret specifications and define test requirements
• Generate test plans and create characterization and production test programs
• Design ATE hardware interface boards and qualification hardware
• Debug silicon on ATE and bench; correlate results and support failure analysis
• Analyze yield fallout; perform statistical analysis; drive yield and test-time improvements
• Work with production to release products to volume production
• Define and implement test strategies for DC-DC converter products
• Develop and maintain ATE hardware and software for robust, cost-effective testing
• Lead silicon qualification, characterization, device validation, and failure analysis

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT); Eagle preferred
• Characterization and production test program and hardware development experience
• Strong knowledge of electronic devices, circuits, and analog test techniques
• Data analysis experience with Spotfire, dataPower, or equivalent STDF-based tools
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, electronic loads
• Experience in product engineering activities such as yield improvement and test-time reduction
• Understanding of IC product development from concept to volume production

Nice-to-have:

• Mixed-signal test technique experience and developing tests on roadmap testers
• Experience offloading test programs and hardware to offshore manufacturing sites
• Programming/scripting in C++, Python, C#; LabVIEW and TestStand experience
• Revision control experience (Subversion, Git)
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
