Role Summary

The Test Development Engineer position within Qorvo's Integrated Systems Business Unit is responsible for developing and sustaining high-volume production test solutions for Automotive UWB SoCs.

This role involves close collaboration with design and product engineering to define test plans, measurement methodologies, and documentation for manufacturing across global test sites.

Experience Level

Professional level; requires 2+ years of experience in the semiconductor or RF industry.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and releasing high-volume production test plans for UWB SoCs and RF modules.
  • Defining measurement methodologies for efficient testing in a manufacturing environment.
  • Developing and maintaining ATE test software on Diamond-x systems.
  • Characterizing device and test performance to support qualification activities.
  • Creating and maintaining necessary documentation and performing studies to ensure testing capability.
  • Supporting design activities for RF fixtures and providing technical assistance across global sites.
  • Applying Lean principles to enhance test efficiency, quality, and cost.

Requirements

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor/RF industry.
  • Experience in software development with Python and C/C++/C#.
  • Proficiency with RF and laboratory test equipment.
  • Understanding of RF test methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience measuring RF performance metrics.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with ATE platforms.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of connectivity standards (e.g., UWB, Bluetooth).
  • Understanding of hardware/software interfaces and protocols.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering is required.
