Test and Sample Building Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for planning and executing mechanical and electrical tests and building prototype samples to evaluate and validate new products. Works within product development and manufacturing teams to develop test methods, operate laboratory equipment, process test data, and produce technical test reports.

Responsibilities
Accountable for design and execution of tests, sample build processes, data analysis, and reporting. Collaborates with development and manufacturing teams to optimize test procedures and equipment.
- Design, implement and execute mechanical and electrical tests according to automotive and customer requirements.
- Create and maintain test fixtures, procedures, and specifications for new products.
- Perform prototype sample building and execute required process steps.
- Operate laboratory, measurement and test equipment; use internal testing and manufacturing software.
- Collect, process and summarize test data; prepare technical test reports.
- Design supporting components/gadgets for tests and equipment.
- Plan and schedule labor and equipment required for testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory and manufacturing quality practices.
- Collaborate continuously with cross-functional departments and external suppliers/customers.

- Strong written, oral and presentation communication skills; good command of English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong organization, planning and time-management skills; self-accountable.
- Experience operating measurement, laboratory or research equipment and related control software is advantageous.
- Experience in a technology-focused company or organization is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with all organizational levels and external partners.
Education Requirements
University degree required (e.g., Bachelor's) or equivalent relevant work experience. Preferred fields: Engineering β Mechanics, Electrical, Automation, or Electronics.
