Technical Support Engineer - High Frequency Electromagnetics
Role Summary
Provide technical support and problem resolution for high-frequency electromagnetics simulation users across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Work as part of a collocated support team based in Athens to diagnose simulation issues, validate fixes, document solutions, and support product quality and adoption.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support to customers and channel partners across EMEA for high-frequency electromagnetics simulation products.
- Use AI-driven support platforms and internal tools to diagnose problems and accelerate case resolution.
- Follow support processes to ensure timely responses, accurate documentation, and high customer satisfaction.
- Submit defect reports and enhancement requests; verify engineering fixes and participate in release validation.
- Participate in field testing of new releases and validate real-world behaviour before general availability.
- Document solutions, create internal guides, and share knowledge to strengthen the team knowledge base.
Requirements
Core qualifications and skills (must-have vs nice-to-have):

Must-have: Hands-on experience with high-frequency electromagnetics (RF, microwave, antenna design, signal integrity, or similar) obtained via research, thesis work, or professional projects.

Must-have: Solid understanding of simulation principles and engineering fundamentals in the high-frequency domain.

Must-have: Strong logical problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.

Must-have: Fluent written and spoken English and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.

Must-have: Ability to follow support processes, track cases, and maintain timely follow-up; willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.

Nice-to-have: Experience with Ansys software or other commercial CAE/CAD/EDA/PLM tools.

Education Requirements
