Technical Intern, Platform Validation Engineer

Role Summary

The Technical Intern, Platform Validation Engineer will join the Platform Validation Team at Ampere. This role involves developing firmware, graphical user interfaces, test scripts, setting up server hardware, and executing software applications in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Experience Level

Internship level, typically suitable for third-year students pursuing a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Participate in all phases of design and development for applications, firmware, GUIs, and test scripts.
• Conduct board bring-up with multiple devices using interfaces such as I2C, UART, SPI, FLASH, PCIe, and DDR.
• Collaborate closely with software and hardware engineering teams for problem analysis and resolution.

Requirements

Must-have skills include:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Good understanding of CPU/MCU architecture and ability to read schematics and datasheets.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming, Python, and Linux Bash Shell.
• Basic knowledge of standard interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, FLASH, GPIO, PCIe, and DDR.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills, along with written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.

Education Requirements

Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering, ideally in their third year with a strong academic record.
