System Test Engineer

Role Summary

Work in the Test Solutions group to develop and support manufacturing test solutions for NVIDIA datacenter system products. The role focuses on hardware and software debugging, test automation, and working directly with manufacturing partners to ensure production readiness.

Primary mission: define and implement test strategies, fixtures, equipment, and diagnostic software for platform-level manufacturing and validation.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically requires 2+ years of post-silicon validation experience or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

• Implement manufacturing test solutions for datacenter system products.
• Support manufacturing partners on-site or remotely; travel required.
• Develop test strategy for new product features, including identification, specification, design, and qualification of test fixtures and equipment.
• Design and develop diagnostic software and automation for manufacturing tests.
• Review and provide feedback for design-for-test (DFT) during early design stages.
• Debug complex hardware and software issues during build and production phases.
• Contribute to automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

• 2+ years of post-silicon validation experience in board or system products.
• Experience working with manufacturing test programs at the platform level.
• Experience with datacenter platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Bash scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with rack- and cluster-level testing.
• Experience developing or owning test strategy for systems.

Education Requirements

BS degree or equivalent practical experience; field of study not specified. The posting accepts equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
