Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's Networking Product Engineering team to develop and maintain automated tests and validation for networking switches and adapters. The role focuses on hardware-software integration, test development from early design through production, and improving test reliability and coverage.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include designing and executing tests, debugging HW/SW issues, and supporting production test flows.

• Design and develop automated tests for networking switches and adapters in collaboration with HW, ASIC, and SW teams.
• Define and implement tests from development stage through final network-system testing and production validation.
• Use test suites to find, debug, and resolve production and integration issues.
• Support and fix bugs in existing test and production code; handle deployments, patches, and maintenance for production lines.
• Perform verification and validation for both hardware and software; troubleshoot and optimize testing procedures.
• Drive projects to completion on schedule in a multi-project environment.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes for the role.

Must-have:

• Proven software development skills and experience with hardware-software integration, low-level driver development, firmware, or automated hardware testing.
• Proficiency in one or more: Python, C#, C, or C++.
• Experience with version control systems (preferably GIT).
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Experience integrating and debugging software/hardware using laboratory instruments and software debugging tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; experience collaborating with global teams.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with product manufacturing flows and processes.
• Exposure to application development, configuration management, automation, and tools/services development.
• Leadership experience driving projects from definition through mass production.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. or equivalent engineering degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
