Job Title

System Level Test Engineer

Role Summary

Design, build, validate, and maintain diagnostic test programs used as final manufacturing tests for NVIDIA GPU products. Work in the System Level Test (SLT) test engineering team to deliver test programs to manufacturing partners and improve their efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Requires 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop, validate, and support manufacturing test programs for Data Center GPUs.
  • Integrate software, firmware, and test settings to create robust diagnostic programs.
  • Coordinate with ASIC, ATE, systems/silicon validation, software, VBIOS, product engineering, and production teams to resolve test issues.
  • Monitor test program performance and drive improvements in efficiency and coverage.
  • Create and extend automation frameworks and tools to increase test throughput and reliability.
  • Investigate and debug complex hardware–software interactions, including board- and system-level failures.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and debugging complex hardware and software stacks.
  • Strong familiarity with Linux, including low-level software drivers and kernel behavior.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, logical approach to debugging, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication and organizational skills; able to drive projects with minimal supervision and work across multiple teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Strong Python programming and automation experience.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve engineering productivity, debugging, or automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of silicon manufacturing and test processes, embedded platforms, ASIC debug, and board-level signal integrity issues.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
