Job Title

System Level Test Engineer

Role Summary

Develop and maintain manufacturing diagnostic test programs for SoC products, integrating software, firmware, and test settings to validate chips before customer delivery. Collaborate with ASIC, ATE, systems validation, software, firmware, product engineering, and production teams.

Focus on test automation, tooling, and process improvements to ensure reliable high-volume manufacturing execution.

Experience Level

Entry-level. The posting requests 2+ years of related experience (typical entry range: 0–3 years).

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities involve building and supporting production test programs and driving automation and cross-team issue resolution.

  • Build, validate, and support manufacturing test programs for SoC products.
  • Integrate software, firmware, and test settings for production test flows.
  • Collaborate with ASIC, ATE, systems/silicon validation, software, firmware, product engineering, and production teams to resolve test program issues.
  • Initiate and drive process improvements using existing automation frameworks and by developing new tools.
  • Investigate and debug complex hardware-software interactions that affect test outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Linux, including device drivers and kernel fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to quickly narrow down and tackle issues across hardware and software stacks.
  • Good communication, organization, and time-management skills; able to drive projects with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-have:

  • Scripting skills (Bash, Python).
  • Experience with silicon manufacturing and test processes.
  • Familiarity with embedded platforms and system software.
  • Background in ASIC debug, logic design, or signal integrity and board-level issues.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field β€” or equivalent practical experience.
