System Engineer, DCC DAC
Role Summary
The Systems Engineer will define and evaluate analog/mixed-signal product solutions, support product ramp to release-to-manufacturing (RTM), and drive customer design wins. The role works cross-functionally with design, test, packaging, product, marketing and sales teams and provides application support and system-level validation for customers in automotive, industrial, consumer and computing markets.
Experience Level
Mid-level (6β10 years of relevant experience).
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities focus on product definition, system evaluation, customer support and revenue growth.
- Research and define new products; develop business cases and product strategies and take products to RTM.
- Analyze customer systems and end-equipment to identify trends and opportunities for value-added IC solutions.
- Assess tradeoffs with design teams and customers and act as technical expert during product ramp-up.
- Perform silicon system evaluation (hardware and software as needed) and document results.
- Provide application support, troubleshoot customer issues with lab testing and schematic analysis.
- Support and train applications engineering and sales on new and existing products.
- Create technical collateral: datasheets, application notes, user guides, EVMs, SPICE models, and related material.
- Drive new design wins and contribute to revenue planning and product roadmap.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.
- 6β10 years of relevant industry experience (see Experience Level).
- Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal ICs and their system-level applications.
- Experience promoting ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions.
- Customer-facing experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with lab equipment and hands-on troubleshooting.
- System-level circuit modeling using EDA tools; SPICE and MATLAB experience.

Nice-to-have: proven ability to build stakeholder relationships, rapid ramp on new systems, strong time management, and demonstrated initiative.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
