SXM Manufacturing Test Engineer

Role Summary

Work primarily onsite in Foxconn factories in Hanoi to support manufacturing of GPU board-level products. Partner with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to design, validate and deploy functional test hardware and software for production.

Focus areas include test diagnostic development, test station and equipment validation, board-level debugging, and automation of test execution and data analysis for manufacturing.

Experience Level

Mid-level — requires 5+ years of electronic products related work experience with familiarity of manufacturing processes and flows.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include development, validation and support of manufacturing test solutions and tooling.

• Coordinate with global manufacturing test teams to develop and validate diagnostic packages and test scripts.
• Diagnose and analyze board-level test issues with hardware, software, and operations teams; provide feedback on debug tools.
• Validate and implement new test stations and test equipment for production.
• Work with contract manufacturer (CM) teams to implement test requirements and improve test stability and yield.
• Follow up on NPI and MP board-level test setup and troubleshooting; maintain diagnostic packages and FTP documentation.
• Design and implement tools to automate product definitions, data collection, test execution, and result analysis.
• Develop test infrastructure ecosystem tools to support NVIDIA board-level production.
• Contribute to DFX methodologies for next-generation products for manufacturing use.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, manufacturing experience, and communication capabilities.

• Must-have: 5+ years in electronic-product-related roles with familiarity of manufacturing processes and flow.
• Must-have: Strong Linux experience and solid programming skills (Python, Shell); ability to develop and debug programs.
• Must-have: Board-level test debugging capability and practical experience with PCBA/product testing in production.
• Must-have: Self-motivated, able to work across functional teams, and responsible for deliverables.
• Must-have: Good communication in English; ability to participate in technical meetings. Chinese language ability is a plus for factory coordination.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with factory manufacturing environments and processes; advanced programming proficiency.

Education Requirements
